You are welcome to also turn off your video, but if you leave it on you might get a personal cue from me. I will be demoing a bit but I also want to see you guys practicing. This is still new to me and I will be experimenting a bit with the format. End After initiating Savasana (final pose of rest) I will end the call. Feel free to reach out to me after! Class descriptions:
Functional Flow (Live-Stream) This is a creative and fun movement practice. We will move mindfully through a collection of creative sequences and intentionally curated movements to bring more varied movement and curiosity to the body and all of its systems. The idea is to deepen body awareness, maintain, strengthen and acquire range of motion and build joint resilience. Come begin to create a sustainable body that you can use confidently in our yoga practice and in daily activities for the rest of your life!Inspired by yoga asana and philosophy, Functional Range Conditioning®, Therapeutic movement, and current physical training concepts from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Mellow Flow (Live-Stream) This class is movement and transition focused. I do not offer long holds, but slow mindful movement. Moving your body in ways that are good for it is the most important. Good is sometimes hard ;) I empower you to take care of yourself through this movement practice and skip or modify poses or movements as dictated by your body. I really look forward to leading movement in this new, virtual way. VINYASA: Vinyasa classes are based on the breath and linking that with movement. Each class is a little different. Flowing through a well rounded sequence of poses, designed to lengthen and strengthen the body. Catering to all level practitioners by offering modifications for different levels of students. |
